Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsinastate has paid an unscheduled visit to Government Science Secondary School, Batagarawa where he interacted with students and assessed the school’s infrastructure, firsthand.
The Governor was received by the school management and teaching staff. He immediately began a tour of the school, inspecting classrooms, dormitories, and other learning facilities to ensure they meet students’ needs.
A press release my the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary Muhammad Kaula, Governor Radda engaged directly with students and he thereafter encouraged them to stay focused on their studies. He stressed the importance of discipline, hard work, and education as a tool for personal and community growth.
Governor Radda also visited the school kitchen to see how meals are prepared. He personally tasted the food and expressed satisfaction with its quality, assuring that larger quantities will be supplied to feed all students adequately.
According to the statement, the visit highlights Governor Radda commitment to education and student welfare in Katsina State, showing his hands-on approach to improving schools and learning conditions.
Those in Governor’s entourage were Aisha Saidu Barda, Special Adviser on School Feeding, and UmmulKhair Ahmed Bawa, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
