Katsina Consultative Furum’s’ annual lecture is set for 29th December 2024 with the theme ‘ STRATEGIES FOR POVERTY ERADICATION AND DRIVE TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN KATSINA STATE ‘.
This was made made by the Forum’s’ Chairman, Aminu Abubakar Danmusa during a press briefing in Katsina.
The Forum said it has recorded successes in its efforts towards putting the necessary mechanisms in place in the fight against abuse of drugs and illicit substances.
To this end, the Katsina Consultative Forum is now set to bring together Intellectuals, Professionals, and Policy makers as well as other key players to brainstorm on how the address issues relating to poverty across Katsina state.
The KCF said it is worried about a data from the national bureau of statistics which indicated that Katsina State was having 74.1% of the people are living in object poverty based on an NBS 2020 poverty head count rate.
