Dear Sir,
FORMAL RESIGNATION FROM THE NEW NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY (NNPP)
I write to formally notify you of my resignation from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), effective from the date of this letter.
My tenure with the NNPP has been defined by a deep sense of duty. I have had the distinct honor of serving as the Party’s Gubernatorial Candidate and as a Leader of the Party in Katsina State. Leading our movement through critical electoral cycle was a responsibility I held with the utmost gravity, and I remain immensely proud of the vision we championed for the progress of our people.
Throughout my journey with the Party, I have been driven by a singular commitment, the socio-economic advancement of Katsina State and the upliftment of our citizens. I am profoundly grateful for the platform the NNPP provided me to advocate for these values and for the opportunity to have served in a leadership capacity within the State Chapter.
This decision to move forward follows a period of profound reflection and wide-ranging consultation with my political associates and stakeholders. While this chapter concludes, I remain steadfast in my commitment to the development of Katsina State and the advancement of our democratic ideals.
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the party leadership, the grassroots organizers, and the thousands of supporters who stood by me. The trust you placed in me to lead our ticket is something I shall always cherish, and the bonds we formed in the heat of the struggle remain invaluable.
I wish the Party well in its future endeavors and pray for the continued peace and prosperity of our great State.
Thank you for the opportunity to have served at the highest level.
Yours faithfully,
Engr. Mohammed Nur Khalil
Former Gubernatorial Candidate and Party Leader.
