Let us dispense with the hypocrisy.
The United States and its Western allies deliberately imposed crippling economic sanctions that shattered Iran’s economy, wiped out its middle class, collapsed its currency, and plunged millions of ordinary citizens into poverty. Having done this, they now shamelessly claim to be fighting for Iran’s “human rights.”
This is not irony. It is fraud.
Sanctions are not diplomatic tools; they are weapons of economic warfare. They are designed to starve populations, deny access to medicine, destroy livelihoods, and break societies from within. When bombs are politically inconvenient, sanctions are deployed instead silent, slow killing, and devastating.
Let the record be clear: this is collective punishment. It violates every moral principle the West pretends to uphold. Children suffer. The sick die. Families are ruined. Entire generations are economically crippled all in the name of “democracy” and “freedom.”
You cannot burn a nation and then lecture its ashes about human rights.
The same powers that weaponised sanctions now parade themselves as moral saviours, shedding performative tears over suffering they engineered. This is not concern it is cynical manipulation. It is imperial arrogance dressed in humanitarian language.
Sanctions do not liberate people; they radicalise them. They do not protect rights; they destroy them. They do not weaken governments alone; they punish civilians first and hardest.
The world must stop pretending. Economic strangulation is not peace. It is not diplomacy. It is economic terrorism by powerful states against weaker ones.
They may deceive some, for a while. But history has a long memory, and truth has a way of surfacing.
The mask is off. The hypocrisy is exposed. And the world is no longer fooled. Donald Trump and the West must stop their act of economic terrorism.
