Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has\u00a0 expressed deep sadness over the death of Muhammadu Buhari a popular Hausa language musician, popularly known as Kosan Waka.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Late Kosan Waka, who hailed from Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, he died at the age of 47.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Governor described the late maestro singer as a voice of the people whose songs promoted peace, unity, culture and public enlightenment.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cKosan Waka used his music to preach peace, to promote our culture and to educate the people on politics and governance. He was one of my favourite singers since my days as Director General of SMEDAN,\u201d the Governor said.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He noted that the late musician participated in several programmes and events organised by the Katsina State Government and always lent his voice to causes that unite the people.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cHis death is a big loss to Katsina State, to the music industry and to all of us who grew up listening to his songs. We will miss his energy and his message,\u201d Radda added.<\/div>\n

The Governor prayed to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus. He also condoled with the immediate family, the people of Batagarawa LGA and fans of the late singer across the state.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
